[Presentation] Kaiser Hamid Presented at the 104th TRB Annual Meeting 2025

HiACE Lab member Kaiser Hamid presented his research titled “Assessing the Potential of Google Location History (GLH) Data for Travel Behavior Research in the Context of Developing Country” at the 104th Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C.

The work, first introduced at the 27th IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITSC 2024), investigates how large-scale Google Location History (GLH) data can be used to understand travel behavior patterns in developing countries.

This study shows how smartphone-based location data can support transportation planning, policy evaluation, and mobility analytics in settings where traditional survey data are limited.

The project reflects the HiACE Lab’s broader commitment to data-driven, human-centered transportation research that combines AI, behavioral modeling, and mobility analytics.
