[Spotlight] Kaiser & Peihang Share Their Latest Work in Engineering Research Day

At Texas Tech University Engineering Research Day, the HiACE Lab was represented by two PhD students, Kaiser Hamid and Peihang Li, who presented their latest work.

Kaiser shared research on the computer vision and perception side, focusing on how learning-based systems can interpret visual data for robust scene understanding in real-world environments.

Peihang presented research on the human factors side, studying human behavior, perception, and interaction with intelligent systems, with an emphasis on improving safety and human-centered design.

Together, their presentations reflect the broader direction of the HiACE Lab: advancing intelligent systems that are both technically strong and human-aware.
