[Publication] Two HiACE Lab Papers Accepted to HFES ASPIRE 2026

We are excited to share that two lecture presentations from the HiACE Lab have been accepted to HFES ASPIRE 2026 under the supervision of Dr. Nade Liang, Principal Investigator of the HiACE Lab.

The accepted presentations are:

  • LECT559: The Driver in the Field: A Systematic Review of Human-Centric Evidence in Field-Based Driving Behavior Models
    Leading author: Peihang Li
    This work is connected to the lab’s ongoing Risk Perception Modeling project and reflects our broader effort to better understand human-centered driving behavior in real-world and field-based settings.

  • LECT604: Interpretable Modeling of Driver Attention Shifts with Vision-Language Model
    Leading author: Kaiser Hamid
    This work is connected to the lab’s FSDAM line of research on interpretable driver attention modeling with vision-language methods.

These acceptances reflect the lab’s ongoing research in human-centered driving behavior modeling, driver attention, interpretable AI, and transportation human factors.
